Dufuss, my muscovy drake (formerly named Lame Duck alien ) has successfully mated at least one of his two girls. I wasn't sure he'd ever be able to do that as he is on the lame side. I think as a duckling he had a broken leg. Anyway, the hen seemed cooperative so he isn't brutalizing.

I have not seen any eggs yet but I am certain I will very soon! tongue

Soooo Cute! Do your muscovies get along well with the chickens? Do they interact at all? Just curious!

Yes, they get along fine though both species will peck each other if space is being invaded. I also don't normally handle the ducks and they pretty much sit there allowing me to walk past them with out spazzing out.

Love his name! Laughing
Nice pics. Thanks for sharing.
My Muscovies seem to like to wait until its warmer before they start laying and going broody. They're worthless for hatching out my geese eggs (and the reason why I got them) but I keep them around for their other attributes.
